M&S Energy started in 2008, in partnership with SSE. The M&S Energy fuel mix is therefore the same as SSE’s:

M&S Energy electricity and gas prices are similar to those of SSE except that new customers get M&S vouchers when they join. This makes M&S Energy a reasonably attractive electricity and gas supplier in terms of pricing, though it is not the cheapest by any means.

To give you a more concrete idea of pricing, here are M&S Energy’s estimated annual dual fuel, national electricity and gas costs for a home on the UK’s average electricity and gas consumption (3,200 kWh for electricity and 13,500 kWh for gas) for June 2014. Prices vary according to usage and location so this is only indicative.
